Café Monteverde is a group of 15 families with more than five generations producing, processing and exporting coffee, with deep roots in agriculture and education.
Our Monteverde Coffee Tour takes place at the Life Monteverde integral farm. In an interactive 2.5-hour tour, we cover all stages of coffee production and final processing, emphasizing sustainability in the production of fine coffees, its relationship with biodiversity, and its importance in local community development.
The tour gives a detailed explanation of coffee farming, harvest, milling and roasting and ends with a guided tasting of 5 types of coffee at the Monteverde Coffee Lab, a laboratory dedicated to innovation in specialty coffees.
